We reserve the right to postpone or cancel any course without notice. Attendees may cancel up to 48 hours in advance without penalty. Cancellations up to 24 hours in advance incur no penalty if the minimum number of attendees is maintained. Otherwise, and always in the case of no-shows (except in the cases of medical emergency and family bereavement) a 100% penalty of the tuition (not including materials fees, if any) is levied.
The wood lathe can be used for a variety of applications; our members have turned everything from beautiful wooden bowls, to custom chair legs and even baseball bats.

In this course you will create a pen using the wood lathe. The skills you develop will also allow you to make a variety of other small tools including razor blade handles, seam rippers, mini-screw drivers, and letter openers.
