Intro to the Vertical Mill will give students the basics on how to safely navigate and operate the Bridgeport Vertical Mills. This class will cover appropriate safety procedures, different tools on the machine, and how to properly set up one's project. Students will learn the ins and outs of feeds and speeds of the machine as well as how to properly choose the right cutter for their project. A small materials fee covers each student’s metal stock. **Closed-toe shoes are required.
